Masters Degree Description

The PgCert in Workforce Planning is designed to support students working in health and social care services.

This one-year course focuses on understanding the strategic context of leading in healthcare, including understanding the workforce, challenges in leadership and improving care.

You will consider the strategic aspects of your own workplace context and how to effectively improve your services and own leadership skills.

The PgCert Workforce Planning course offers classroom learning that can then be applied in your workplace. You will then bring your experiences back to class to help build on your knowledge.

In this way, evidence-based care can be implemented and as you learn to apply these skills and bring research knowledge into action, you can also develop your own competencies and leadership potential.
