Discover courses in MA Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts. Combining creative freedom with expert support, our degrees allow you to continue your artistic exploration your way. With access to all our creative facilities – from glass and metal working studios to digital suites and print workshops – you can choose to bolster your practice with even more specialist skills.
Fine Art is offered at both our Canterbury and Farnham campuses. These vibrant locations each have their own unique atmospheres and creative spaces to inspire your work. Whether you’re an artist, designer, illustrator, architect, theorist, or graduate from the broader humanities, you’ll be encouraged to explore your artistic practice, challenge conventional notions of contemporary artistry, and develop your critical skills.
You’ll have opportunities to work closely with local and national galleries, as well as public arts organisations. Plus, we’ll actively support you to develop and showcase your work outside the context of the university, to help expand your audiences. This course has the option of an Integrated Pre-Masters, which is a preparatory year of specialist study, to ensure you are equipped for the challenges ahead.
