Places available in the University of Lincoln’s unique Masters programme from the Lincoln Institute of Agri-Food Technology (LIAT). The programme is specifically looking for graduates from a range of areas such as Computer Science, Robotics, Ecology, Animal Welfare, Biology, Genetics, Food Manufacturing, Engineering and Economics.

 

The MSc Agri-Food Technology programme offers a postgraduate taught option for graduates to diversify their skillset and bring them into the modern Agri-Food sector, which is growing exponentially, daily. Example modules are:

 

– Advanced Food Manufacturing

– Agri-Robotics

– Commercial and Operational Management

– Food Safety and Technical Management

– New Product and Process Development

– Principles of Crop Science

– Supply Chain and Agile Management

 

There is an end-point opportunity to select either the Independent Agri-food Research Project or Applied Agri-food Business Project. The Independent Research Project provides the chance to complete an in-depth investigation of a specific topic within industry or academia, enabling students to apply new knowledge in a real-life setting. Selecting the Applied Agri-food Business Project, students have the opportunity to undertake a six month work placement in industry. This can be with an industry partner or through an independently sourced placement, and is facilitated by LIAT (Lincoln Institute for Agri-food Technology).
