Funding for postgraduate studies

Funding is an important consideration for most postgraduate students. The good news is that, since September 2016, the UK Government has offered a postgraduate loan (PGL) for new Masters students.

We also have a range of scholarships and bursaries for postgraduate students including our International Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students who can demonstrate exceptional academic and extra-curricular achievement.

Take a look at what’s on offer.

If you have any questions about fees and funding, our Money Advice Service is on hand to offer free, specialist advice. We also run finance talks at our postgraduate Open Evenings.

Research Community

ARU has a vibrant, ambitious and growing research community. With 12 world-leading areas of research, we’re making a positive difference – tackling global issues from climate change to mental health.

By choosing to join a research programme with us, you’ll benefit from dedicated workspaces, high quality facilities, and support from our experienced and research-active supervisors.
