Applications for Chevening Scholarships and most Fellowships are now closed. Applications will reopen in August 2019 for opportunities to study in the UK in 2020/2021. 

Canon Collins Trust works with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to jointly select and fund a number of scholars on the Chevening Programme each year. These scholarships are for one-year taught masters degrees at any UK university. All applicants apply through the Chevening Scholarship online application system, but Canon Collins will be directly involved in the selection process.

Are you eligible?
To apply for this scholarship through the Canon Collins Trust you must:
•be a national of South Africa
•be in possession of a good first degree (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or about to graduate in the year of application.
•be applying for a full-time one-year master’s degree at a UK university

What Chevening offers
The Chevening/Canon Collins Scholarship will normally cover:
•payment of tuition fees;
•all costs associated with the programme;
•economy travel to and from your country of residence to the UK;
•accommodation;
•a monthly personal living allowance (stipend) to cover other living expense for you only;
•the costs of an entry clearance (student visitor visa) application.
