Definition of the Diabetes UK PhD Studentship

The Diabetes UK PhD Studentship scheme enables outstanding science graduates to study for a PhD in the field of diabetes research.

Financial support
Studentships are for a duration of three years. Research expenses include a stipend, student fees and consumables.

Eligibility
Applications must be from potential supervisors only. Supervisors must be able to show that they have a full-time position at a UK-based institution for the lifetime of the grant. Diabetes UK will not accept applications from potential students themselves.

Deadline
The Diabetes UK PhD Studentship scheme is advertised in the scientific/medical press in April of each year and has an annual deadline of 31 August
