History provides us with the tools to analyse and explain problems in the past, it positions us to see patterns that might otherwise be invisible in the world today. Now is the time to pursue a History-based Master’s programme to fully understand the problems of the past, so we can learn to solve the problems of our present and future.

The School of History currently offers three masters programmes. MA History, MA History of Political Thought and Intellectual History, jointly taught with UCL and MA Urban History and Culture administered and jointly taught by the University of London Institute in Paris.
