Develop the skills employers are looking for with a specialist Journalism masters degree at Nottingham Trent University (NTU).

We will support you to navigate the fast-paced world of media and journalism. You will learn to communicate your knowledge to new audiences with accredited courses, practical experience, and industry-standard facilities.

You’ll get involved with Newsdays, providing a realistic environment to practice your skills. You will work to tight deadlines producing newspaper and magazine pages, and radio and television bulletins to a professional standard. You can then use your new knowledge to contribute to the local media, including the Nottingham Post and Notts TV. And when you are not contributing to the media, the media are contributing to your course, with guest lectures and visiting experts.

We will provide you with first-class facilities at our Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism. With one of the largest newsrooms in the country, the latest tech and supportive technicians and tutors, you’ll learn the confidence you need to be comfortable in any news studio in the world.
