The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama is a world leader in the training of all things theatre and performance. With 1-year MAs and 2-year MFAs available, Central offers a broad portfolio of training opportunities at its campus in North London.

Central offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries with our new Leverhulme Scholarships, 6 in total each worth £10,000, on offer for the coming academic year.

They apply to all courses and are available for UK, EU or International applicants.

The £10,000 will be split with £5,000 being used to pay towards the tuition fee and £5,000 paid direct to the student for living costs.

Recipients of these prestigious awards will be decided based on two criteria; those who demonstrate the potential for exceptional talent at interview as well as being awarded based on financial need.

Full information on these awards can be found here.

Central has received generous grants from the Leverhulme Trust to support its Research activities and also Applied Theatre students.  Since the first grant in 2007, Leverhulme funding has enabled Central’s Applied Theatre students to learn through vital work study projects and to undertake key elements of their training via placements outside London.

All of our Masters courses are trained by active practitioners and researchers, with Central graduates being highly sought after across the globe.

Our full list of Masters courses are available here.
