We prepare our students to address the challenges of modern design. Our courses are designed to encourage the kind of collaborative ethos that spans disciplines, specialisms, and industries. At postgraduate level you’ll work together with students from both product design courses and be exposed to a diverse range of design thinking, research, and practice.

Our MA Design: Products and Furniture at NTU is aimed at designers looking to master their approach to develop innovative products, furniture, systems, and services. The MSc Design: Products and Technology route embraces an extensive range of approaches to design practice – from manufacturing, computer science and advanced internet techniques, to artificial intelligence for control, robotics, project management and inclusive design.

You’ll develop advanced design, technological and manufacturing skills that will open doors to a range of opportunities. You could carve out a globetrotting career with a huge multinational; you could work as a specialist for a low-key private consultancy. You could build and grow your own business. We’ll show you the options, and we’ll build your training around the direction you anticipate taking as a graduate.
