MA Sociology at NTU

Sociologists strive to understand the societies in which we live, the cultures we adopt, and the issues we face. Our sociology courses will teach you to look for solutions to social problems, prepare you for a range of careers, and push you to make a meaningful impact on society.

Our Masters course has been designed and delivered by academic professionals with extensive subject expertise and is distinguished by a focus on public sociology. You’ll also undertake a work placement with a local community organisation, enabling you to work directly with the same people who are striving to make a difference in current social issues, and helping them to make a real impact.
