Cranfield University’s Forensic Institute has been a home for innovation, expertise, and a strong centre for student community for years. 

In 2024 Cranfield Forensic Institute (CFI) is celebrating its 25th anniversary at Cranfield University and has a history of providing the next generation of forensic experts. Our alumni have gone on to work around the world for a multitude of public, private and government services. We also have invested in extensive expertise and exceptional facilities in a wide range of forensic sciences specialities. Our education and research is unsurpassed.

An investment of £7.2 million into the latest forensic equipment, teaching spaces and experienced and industry-relevant academic staff has meant students and staff now have access to brand new world-class facilities and teaching spaces that are unmatched in the UK.

Cranfield University is the UK’s largest postgraduate only University and offers courses across the spectrum of Forensics. Our wide portfolio allows us to reach students who could be interested in studying a MSc in Forensic Investigation, but the elective modules allow you to pick and choose several modules from other courses to sample or tailor your study to your desired completion.
