There’s a growing need in the UK for data science experts – that’s why Nottingham Trent University (NTU) have received government funding to develop a course and offer scholarships in this vital area. If you are looking to change career direction or want to join the next generation of data scientists, NTU’s MSc Data Science could be what you are looking for. We are looking for graduates to convert from both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and non-STEM subjects to boost their digital skills and pursue a career in data science.

Working with industry

As data scientists are vital to industry a range of business partners have pledged to support this course by supporting course development, teaching on modules and offering work placements. Our industry partners include Santander, Nottingham City Council, Fujitsu, Walgreen Boots Alliance and Capital One and a range of other local, national and international organisations are joining us.

Generous scholarship and bursaries

We’re aiming to address the UK’s data science industry skills shortage by producing talented graduates from diverse backgrounds. To support us we’ve secured funding to offer scholarships of up to £10,000.
