Join the UK’s specialist health university

St George’s, University of London is the UK’s specialist health university, offering a wide array of postgraduate courses across medicine, science, and health. Our courses are designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge for a successful career in health, and we ranked 1st for Graduate Prospects in the Complete University Guide 2023.

Based in a major teaching hospital, our students are immersed in a professional healthcare environment from day one. You can walk from lecture theatre to laboratory to hospital ward or clinic with ease, placing you in a unique position to experience what your future working lives hold.

Courses are taught by expert staff, many of whom work in various clinical and healthcare practice settings. Our programmes use problem-based learning to bring classes to life, and dedicated employability sessions are incorporated into the curriculum.

By studying with us, you will join a community that has been making a difference for over 250 years.

Funding and scholarships

We offer several scholarships each year for outstanding students across our postgraduate taught courses, as well as project specific funding for our research degree programmes. Many of our students are funded by the NHS Learning Support Fund and the Postgraduate Master’s Loan. Further guidance on financial support can be found on our website. We are also members of the Chevening and GREAT scholarship schemes.
