The University of Manchester invests in 100 elite PhD studentships each year through the President’s Doctoral Scholar Award.

These awards are available to outstanding students from around the world who will benefit from funding for their doctoral studies, a further £1000 enhancement to their stipend, and interaction with leading peers of their generation.

A bespoke suite of training activities is also available for all Presidential Scholars to support them to reach their full potential.
