At the University of Bath, we pride ourselves on teaching excellence and real-world experience. We want to encourage students to consider the bigger picture of their area of study, to realise their potential and make a positive impact on society.
Within our Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies, we offer a range of politics- and policy-related master’s courses to suit your interests. You can deepen your knowledge of geopolitics, learn about cybersecurity or explore the challenges of gender inequality across the globe.
All of these courses give you a wide range of optional units to choose from, ranging from organised crime and environmental politics to international terrorism, Indo-Pacific politics and memory culture. This allows you to focus on topics that interest you and build your skills around your future career ambitions. You can choose to study full-time or part-time on our Bath campus.
Much of the research conducted across our departments was classified as “world-leading” and “internationally excellent” by the REF 2021, giving you a chance to further your studies with both national and international experts in your chosen field.
