Course description:

The Leicester MBA is a highly regarded executive-education course, accredited by AMBA since 1989. It offers a flexible part-time distance learning option, allowing professionals to earn a degree in two and a half years while continuing their careers. There is also a new accelerated route pending final approval, completing the MBA in two years.

Known for its innovative use of digital technology, the Leicester MBA is one of the oldest AMBA-accredited distance learning postgraduate degrees globally. It has a strong international reputation and a network of over 12,000 influential graduates across various industries.

Course structure:

The Leicester MBA provides fully online study with optional residential experiences. Online learning includes recorded lectures, live seminars, interactive discussions and comprehensive study guides. You can also attend the residential Leicester Masterclass at Brookfield, our state-of-the-art School of Business campus.

Teaching and learning:

The MBA is taught by School of Business staff who use cutting-edge teaching techniques and conduct forward-thinking research. Small group settings encourage teamwork and networking among up to 20 students, fostering cross-cultural learning opportunities.

Specialisation options in Business Analytics, Finance, HR Management and Marketing are available. Accreditations from professional bodies like CMI, CIMA, and CIM provide additional qualifications and exam exemptions.

The MBA consists of five six-month modules with breaks in between. Lectures, seminars and assessments are conducted online, while residential workshops take place in February and August. The final module involves a project where you will conduct a live consultancy-style study or explore a specific business topic in depth.
