Addressing urban challenges like inequality, displacement, climate risk and access to public space, means working across disciplines, places and communities — drawing knowledge from different ways of living and experiencing the city.

The Global Urbanism MASc at UCL Urban Laboratory takes a multidisciplinary approach, bridging arts, humanities, social sciences and technology studies. You will learn to navigate the complexity of cities and global urban challenges, preparing for careers in urban policy, practice and the built environment.

UK Scholarship 

UK students studying full-time on the Global Urbanism MASc are eligible to apply for the Ruth Glass Scholarship.
