Brunel University of London, founded in 1966, is a leading technological university renowned for its education and research, as well as its spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. Brunel’s original focus was in engineering, science, technology, education and management, but mergers in the last 25 years have added expertise in new subject areas such as performing arts, humanities, health, sport sciences and business as well as, most recently, our medical school.

Brunel is a single-site campus university in West London, allowing easy access to the capital, without the stress and expense of being in central London.  Everything students need is within a 10-minute walk: cafés, restaurants, social and sports facilities, academic facilities, the library and study spaces. Over 4,200 students call Brunel home and there is a vibrant and friendly community feel to our campus. The town of Uxbridge with its shops, bars and restaurants is a short walk away, and central London with its famous landmarks, galleries, theatres and restaurants is just a tube ride away.
