Founded in 1846 as the Leeds Government School of Art and Design, Leeds Arts University has built an international reputation as one of the UK’s leading creative arts education institutions.
The University offers MA courses in Advertising and Branding, Animation, Comic Art and Graphic Novel, Creative Practice, Creative Writing, Fashion, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography, all delivered by expert tutors who are highly experienced in their creative field.

Funding
Postgraduate students can benefit from the Vice-Chancellor's Postgraduate Scholarship, awarded to one home student for one year of study. Postgraduate loans up to a maximum value of £12,471 are available if your course starts on or after 1 August 2024, for all taught and research Masters programmes in all subjects.
