Support for International Students

The university provides a warm welcome to students from 70-plus countries. Every campus-based international student has access to a £3,000 SMART scholarship and guaranteed accommodation. Our new Student Village has 1,000 en-suite rooms and a social and wellbeing hub.

With dedicated visa guidance, pre-arrival support, English language assistance and a multicultural environment, you’ll feel at home from your first day. You can study at our Stoke-on-Trent campus – one of the UK’s most affordable student cities – or join our tech-focused London campus at the heart of Europe’s largest innovation district.

Funding Options

We offer a wide range of financial support including postgraduate loans, employer sponsorship, flexible payment plans and international scholarships such as the SMART scholarship, providing up to £3,000 per year for eligible students. Some research degrees can also cover studentships or funded projects.
