My name is Sandhya Moni and I’m from Kerala, India. I did my undergraduate in BA Communicative English from Mahatma Gandhi University and my masters in Mass Communication & Advertising from Bangalore University. I then worked in a Digital Marketing Agency for two years as a Key Account Manager and later worked in 7NODES (Tech Start-up) as an assistant Project Manager for a further two years. During that time I decided I wanted to get professionally qualified in what I do, hence, I decided to study further.
The IMPM is taught in both Italy and Scotland and the degree is conferred by Politecnico Di Milano (MIP) and the University of Strathclyde. The advantage of a dual degree programme is we get the best of both worlds. Italy and the UK are very different in terms of work practices and cultures. Hence we as students get a broader understanding of how experts in the field would tackle different situations based on their knowledge, learning and understanding.
I chose IMPM mainly because of the reputation of the institutions and the professors teaching the programme. The entire course is taught by highly skilled professionals who have intense working knowledge of the project management sector for more than 15 years.
MIP and Strathclyde University are amongst the leading institutions in Europe; the University of Strathclyde Business School is triple accredited (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB) while Politecnico Di Milano has a global rank of 17 according to QS.
In addition, there is the option to take electives in international partnering institutions of both MIP and Strathclyde University which provides global exposure to the leading trends. IMPM is an intense study programme that deals with all the contemporary issues with the right mix of theory and practice.
