Why Dundee?
“Everything in Dundee, is ridiculously close. This means you’ll be able to get from one end of town to the other quickly and most often quite cheaply. You don’t have to worry about getting a car any time soon unless you plan on travelling or your course requires you to go on placements. Being able to walk to most places is particularly handy on a night out, considering most students live around Perth Road and the campus. Dundee is quite a safe city as there are always people about along student halls and the main streets.
“Without a doubt, the university has fantastic student-centred facilities, on and off campus. The refurbishment of the library is just one example of how things are constantly being improved to keep up with student needs.
“Dundee is beautiful and it’s growing! With the much-anticipated opening of the V&A museum and waterfront development it’s clear there’s a lot in store for Dundee in the years to come. As an international student from a country vastly different from the UK I’m glad I’ve come to see Dundee not only as a second home but representative of one of my best experiences so far.”
