The MRes offers general research training and skills for those intending to pursue a career that requires an understanding of research.

An MRes is an ideal stepping stone to a PhD programme, as it provides you with an opportunity to experience research within one year.

Throughout the course you will have taught modules, which cover your selected subject and research training. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on a research project.
