Overview

This postgraduate course in additive manufacturing and 3D printing can provide you with the advanced skills and knowledge you need to become an industry professional or researcher in this exciting and expanding area.

Core modules: Group Grand Challenge; Introduction to Additive Manufacturing; Advanced engineering Research Project Organisation and Design; Advanced Additive Manufacturing; Introduction to Metrology; Advanced Materials; Individual Postgraduate Project; an additional 10 credit core module – to be confirmed.

This is a full time, 1 year course.

Academic Entry Requirements:

Upper second class hons Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) first degree or international equivalent. Applicants with qualifications below the minimum may be considered if they have relevant industrial experience (e.g. research and development environment) of at least 5 years, subject to approval by the Quality and Standards Committee.

Language Requirements:

6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element)
