NEW PhD funding opportunities in Humanities and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Bath has launched new funding opportunities for postgraduate research study in 2017.
We have funding available through University studentships, and studentships through the ESRC-accredited South West Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP) and the AHRC-funded. South West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (SWWDTP)
Our students focus their research on:
• Politics, Languages and International Studies
• Social and Policy Sciences
In addition, and in collaboration with the South West Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP), we also offer the following interdisciplinary PhD programmes:
• Advanced Quantitative Methods
• Global Political Economy
• Health and Wellbeing
• Security, Conflict & Human Rights
• Sustainable Futures

Applicants can apply for a studentship in one of two ways. Applicants may either develop their own research proposal by working with a potential supervisor, or, apply for an academic-led project which has a studentship allocated to it (projects to be announced 9 December 2016).
