Financial and Pastoral support for students at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

As a small and specialist institution in the heart of London, students at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama are able to access a wealth of financial aid through a series of scholarships and bursaries as well as a tailored support programme through Central’s dedicated student support services that assist with everything from accommodation to counselling.

Each year Central makes a number of scholarships and bursaries available to incoming postgraduate students ranging from one to ten thousand pounds. Funding is awarded to incoming students holding an offer to study at the school who display exceptional promise/ ability or who is experiencing financial hardship depending on award in question. Central’s scholarships and bursaries are designed to increase access for students from all backgrounds and build upon their existing success in retaining students and helping them to achieve their full potential. Central also provides a comprehensive student support system that includes free counselling sessions, dyslexia and disability screening and support for care leavers to ensure that students on the courses are able to truly get the most out of their degree.
