Benefit from a funded programme
We offer a fully-funded PhD programme at the Business School. This includes a full tuition fee waiver (Home/EU or Overseas fees) plus a living stipend of £29,580 for 2026/27, for up to five years through the Business School Graduate Teaching Assistant Scholarship. Funding for a sixth year can be considered on a case-by-case basis, with potential for a teaching or research assistant studentship.

Starting with a two-year Master’s in Research (MRes), you will gain a strong theoretical grounding and thorough research training to prepare you for the PhD, introducing theory and research methods in Finance, Economics, Management, Analytics & Operations and Marketing. The Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation (CHEPI) is a global leader in research and teaching on health economics, policy, and management. It brings together faculty from the Department of Economics & Public Policy, the Department of Management, and the Department of Analytics, Marketing & Operations at Imperial Business School.
