Exceptional Facilities

Our facilities include a Flight Simulator which allows you to create different environments to test-fly aircrafts. We also have a £1.2 million Wind Tunnel which can create wind speeds of up to 112 mph (180 km/h). This helps us to study how air moves past hard objects. The Great British cycling team had some of their helmets tested in our wind tunnel, to check that the design was suitable for them to cycle as fast as possible.
