Description

At Keele, we’re proud to offer a diverse range of career-focused courses and a thriving student life on our beautiful 600-acre campus, with everything you need on your doorstep.

Whatever your goals, at Keele our ambition is to prepare you for success. Located near both a vibrant university town and a bustling city, Keele is a global community for both academic and personal growth.

Postgraduate study at Keele enables you to specialise, progress and gain industry-relevant skills, with scholarships and bursaries helping to make advanced study more accessible. Many of our postgraduate programmes include professional placements or industry-focused pathways to enhance your employability. As a postgraduate student, you’ll also be part of the Keele Postgraduate Association (KPA), a dedicated Students’ Union offering support, events and a welcoming community at the KPA Clubhouse on campus.

Where is Keele?

Located in the Staffordshire countryside, but within easy reach of a bustling town, vibrant city and our noisy neighbours of Manchester and Birmingham, Keele offers the best of both worlds: a close-knit campus community and an exciting local area to explore.

We're just minutes from the university town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, with a variety of bars, cafes, supermarkets and entertainment venues - including a renowned theatre - and the ever-developing city of Stoke-on-Trent is a short bus ride away.

Jump on the train and we’re less than an hour away from the bright lights of both Manchester and Birmingham too.

Student Support

We support every single student throughout their time at Keele.

If you need to talk to someone, whether it’s about your studies or life outside of them, we have a Student Experience and Support team based within every Faculty, offering one-to-one support and helping you to access any additional support you might need including financial guidance, support for disabilities, specific learning difficulties and long-term health conditions, support around wellbeing and counselling, or accessing our chaplaincy and faith services.

Every Keele student can also access a 24-hour support line through our Student Assistance Programme, offering support for concerns such as stress and anxiety, low mood, family issues, bereavement, financial wellbeing and relationship advice.

Financial Support

Our Student Financial Support team offers confidential advice and guidance to help you to manage your money, so that you can make the most of your time at Keele.

We can help you to resolve issues with your Student Finance, create a budget, and support you to explore your options if you’re facing financial hardship. We are also able to ensure that you receive any funding for which you may be eligible, such as bursaries and scholarships.

Sector leaders in sustainability

We’re proud to be one of the first UK universities to declare a ‘climate emergency’. In 2021 we were named Global Sustainability Institution of the Year and completed the installation of 12,500 solar panels and two wind turbines on campus, to generate up to half of our electricity requirements.

Postgraduate Open Events

Our Postgraduate Open Events allow you to find out more about your chosen subject area, meet our academics, and get a feel for what life is like in our close-knit postgraduate community.

Join us for an upcoming event to explore your options in-person or online.
