The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama is an international leader for professional theatre and performance-related training. We offer an extensive portfolio of postgraduate courses, all in a dynamic, creative and supportive environment with excellent links to industry.

Postgraduate Courses

Central offers 14 MA and 8 MFA degrees across a broad spectrum of theatre and performance-related practices. Our postgraduate student body is made up of diverse practitioners from around the world who all have the freedom to experiment and explore their craft under the guidance of internationally renowned tutors and researchers. Whether you want to hone your acting skills or uncover new passions in the performing arts, Central provides a safe space for you to follow your desired path of inquiry and discovery.

Funding

Central offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries including our Leverhulme Scholarships, 6 in total each worth £10,000, on offer for the coming academic year.

They apply to all courses and are available for UK, EU or International applicants.

The £10,000 will be split with £5,000 being used to pay towards the tuition fee and £5,000 paid direct to the student for living costs.

Recipients of these prestigious awards will be decided based on two criteria; those who demonstrate the potential for exceptional talent at interview as well as being awarded based on financial need.
