Description

Our MSc Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society, is a conversion course designed for graduates who haven’t studied an undergraduate degree in Psychology. This course is a way to move into a sector that offers both satisfying careers and excellent salary potential.

On successful completion of this master’s, you will be equipped to apply for the further postgraduate training that is required to become a Chartered Psychologist.

You’ll be based in Murray Health, the new home of the University’s School of Medicine and School of Psychology. The facility has recently undergone a £8 million transformation project to create a centre of health excellence in the heart of the city of Sunderland. The new School of Psychology area provides a 60-person IT Skills Lab incorporating the General Medical Council Exam Space, digital 1-2-1 spaces, Silent Study zones, 30-person seminar rooms and student breakout spaces.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We usually require applicants to hold at least a second-class honours degree in any subject. This course is designed to be a conversion course for those who do not already hold the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society.
