A brand new £16.7 million North Block will open in early 2019 and add to the suite of first class facilities on site with a new galleried theatre, additional performance and rehearsal spaces along with a sound studio with facilities that prepare students to work at the highest standards in broadcast, film, and digital media.

Postgraduate Courses

Central offers 14 MA and 8 MFA degrees across a broad spectrum of theatre and performance-related practices. Our postgraduate student body is made up of diverse practitioners from around the world who all have the freedom to experiment and explore their craft under the guidance of internationally renowned tutors and researchers.
