Located in the stunning area of Hampstead, North London, Central sits in a perfect location close to the West End but near to some of London’s most beautiful locations including Primrose Hill and Regents Park.

A brand new £16.7 million North Block opened in 2019 and adds to the suite of first class facilities on site with a new courtyard theatre, additional performance and rehearsal spaces along with a sound studio with facilities that prepare students to work at the highest standards in broadcast, film, and digital media.

Postgraduate Courses

Central offers 13 MA and 7 MFA degrees across a broad spectrum of theatre and performance-related practices. Our postgraduate student body is made up of diverse practitioners from around the world who all have the freedom to experiment and explore their craft under the guidance of internationally renowned tutors and researchers. Whether you want to hone your acting skills or uncover new passions in the performing arts, Central provides a safe space for you to follow your desired path of inquiry and discovery.

Central also holds international auditions and interviews in North and South America, Asia and Australia.
