Established in 1998, the UCL Centre for Systems Engineering is a centre for excellence for systems engineering and managing complex technology projects.
The demand for systems expertise is high across many industries, from defence, rail and space, to construction, tourism and any other sector involved in large, complex projects. Organisations need to be able to design, build, operate and improve the challenging, highly integrated systems they run – and they need those systems to last and be effective over time.
The UCL Centre for Systems Engineering has been accredited by the Institution for Engineering and Technology, with our courses commended for our closeness to industry and support for students. Drawing inspiration from the space sector, and UCL’s expertise amassed from over 200 space missions, the centre shares new systems thinking with engineers across other sectors.
Study with us to build your expertise in this sought-after area, working with UCL’s experts as part of our thriving systems engineering community.
