The Department of Earth Sciences at UCL is engaged in world-class research into the processes at work on and within the Earth and other planets.   • Geoscience MSc
    The programme aims to integrate theoretical studies with essential practical skills in the Earth Sciences, both in the field and in the laboratory, preparing you for employment in the geosciences sector.
  • Natural Hazards for Insurers PG Cert
    This course provides students with a better understanding of natural hazards and the means by which their impacts on the market can be mitigated or avoided.

 

Spend a week with Ruby, an MSci Environmental Geoscience student and UCL Earth Sciences Digital Student Ambassador as she works on her final project analysing garnets from a volcano in southern Spain.
