Real-world learning

Our students work together across courses and disciplines – just like in the real world. Business managers work with AI students. And film-makers work with make-up and fashion students to name only a few.

Our on-campus enterprises offer both paid opportunities and the chance to make your name. At Re:So, our on-campus boutique, student designer/makers promote and sell their work. At Solent Creatives you’ll work on real-world projects for real-world businesses. And at Solent Productions, our award-winning media agency, students from across our courses work at live events, music festivals and with the country’s best-known broadcasters.

Our great city

Southampton is a mid-sized city on the south coast of England, offering students a vibrant and enjoyable lifestyle by the sea. Our courses

Solent University offers a diverse range of postgraduate courses, with subjects spanning, business, engineering, AI, computing, law, maritime, health and more. Throughout your course you will benefit from studying in our industry-standard facilities, honing your practical hands-on skills whilst being supported by a dedicated and experienced course team.

Many of our courses also offer three start-dates, in January, May and September – meaning you can fit your studies around your work and home 

Part time and distance learning opportunities are also on offer at the University, with Solent Online Learning acting as a one-stop-shop for virtual learning, online resources and robust support for distance learners.
