For the mid-August 2026 intake, INSEAD is now looking for 16-18 PhD candidates in the following areas: Accounting and Control, Decision Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Strategy, and Technology and Operations Management specialisations. Each specialisation provides an exciting and rigorous environment for students to receive intensive research training and conduct high-quality research.

Regardless of nationality and background, all candidates receive a competitive funding package for the first five years of the programme. Programme structure: Five-year intensive and fulfilling academic journey, working with the world’s best faculty members, and a collaborative academic network, within INSEAD and with strategic academic alliances.
Years 1 and 2: Coursework (core and advanced courses), research paper requirements, research practicum, campus exchange between Singapore and France, field comprehensive exam; unique opportunity to go for an exchange with The Wharton School.
Years 3 to 5: PhD candidacy – Research proposal and defense, advisor selection, job market review and search, dissertation defense, and graduation
Throughout the programme: teaching practicum, seminars, workshops, conferences, annual performance reviews
