Bursaries and funding

We offer different bursaries for students at various stages in their career. Check out the full range here. Some applicable opportunities for postgraduate students include:

Young Independent Student Bursary
A non-repayable bursary of £1,500 per progressive year of study to students classified as estranged or care leavers.

Success Bursary
The ICMP Success Bursary comprises a non-repayable award of £300 per semester to our full-time UK- and EU-domiciled undergraduate students who submit all their assessments on time.

How to fund your postgraduate study
Students on designated postgraduate music programmes can borrow up to £11,222 per year of Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to cover tuition fees and provide a contribution towards living costs.

For students to be eligible for SLC funding, they must meet the eligibility criteria detailed here.
