Open to: Graduates from either a business background (with evidence of strong quantitative content) or a tech background (including numerate scientific disciplines with strong computational content). 

MSc Business Analytics - overview

This MSc is led by Durham's Department of Computer Science and co-delivered and co-managed with the Business School — combining expertise from both departments to provide a well-rounded education in AI-driven business analytics. You get the best of both worlds: world-class technical training and the strategic business thinking employers need.

The programme covers core modules from an in-depth introduction to Business Analytics through to predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques. The International Field Trip is a major highlight of the programme, and the Business Analytics Project is the culmination of your studies.

Entry Requirements

 A first or upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in:

  • Business
  • Computer Science
  • Related subject with a strong quantitative component
  • English language proficiency required for international applicants.
