The School of Education has provided training and research in this specialised field since 1946. From early years and primary settings to secondary and colleges, we work with over 670 partners to offer award-winning professional practice.

We offer both Teacher Training programmes and Master level study which include courses such as Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice, Inclusive Education, National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (SENCO) and Waldorf Education and Creative Pedagogies.

Funding opportunities

We offer a range of scholarship opportunities to help fund your postgraduate study, including support for international students and an Access Fund for those experiencing financial difficulty due to unforeseen events. Research funding is available through our doctorial training partnerships.
